May and June Empties

  1. Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Fade Milk - Did not work on my too tanned arms which are way darker than the rest of my body. I will not repurchase this.
  2. Avene Thermal Spring Water - Feels nice, but the feeling doesn't last. Will not repurchase but happy get them as freebie or GWP.
  3. Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream sample - I liked this range but my husband doesn't like the fragrance so I will not purchase this.
  4. Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Balancing Softener sample - My HG toner. I tried it ages ago, but just couldn't justify the price then. Now, I think I will repurchase this when I finish/toss everything that's toner-like in my stash.
  5. Shiseido The Skincare Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam sample - A good cleanser, but doesn't feel luxurious enough for the hefty price tag. I will not purchase this.
  6. Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover sample - Stings! I will not purchase this as I don't like oil and water/alcohol makeup removers anyway.
  7. Estee Lauder Tender Blush in 211 Nude Rose sample, depotted - Tiny pan of a lovely natural-looking blush. Sadly, it's hard to pick up colour evenly now that I've hit pan, so I consider this emptied. Might purchase in the future if I ever hit pan on a full-sized blush.
  8. Clinique Blush sample, unknown shade, depotted - I depotted this from a palette but forgot to note down the shade name before tossed out the heat-deformed palette. It seemed nice, til I got that Estee Lauder blush.
  1. Gorgeous Cosmetics Sheer Brilliance Liquid Foundation sachet - Can't remember how I felt about this. Probably not the right shade for me anyway.
  2. L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation sachet - Can't say it made me look luminous. Again, not the right shade.
  3. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster sachet - Not enough sample to judge.
  4. Being True Essential Soothing Tonic sachet - It's not for my dry skin.
  5. Estee Lauder Optimizer Anti-Wrinkle/Lifting Lotion sachet - Nice, but I still prefer the Shiseido Benefiance Softener
  6. Kosmea Skin Clinic Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil sachet - Can't see a difference between this and Trilogy. Anyway, I don't know if rose hip oil is working for me anyway.
  7. Kosmea Clarifying Facial Wash sachet - Ok, not great.
  8. Kosmea Purifiying Cream Cleanser sachet - Doesn't cleanse my face well, even with the Clarisonic, my toner still picks up some leftover foundation.
  9. Kosmea Replenishing Moisturiser sachet - Ok, not great.
  1. Revlon Colorstay Pressed Powder in Medium - Broke into pieces when I tried to depot it. Re-pressed it to no avail. Would rather toss than deal with powder crumbs on carpet again.
  2. La Femme Eyeshadow in Iridescent Taupe - The shop Makeup Mania has replaced this shade which arrived broke.
  3. Blistex Strawberry Lip Balm - Old and smells very artificial.
  4. The Body Shop Cheek Colour in 10 Sweet Nutmeg depotted - A decade old blush. Pretty, sheer but quite hard to pick up product with my new soft blush brushes. And I've since tossed the scratchy brushes that work well with this blush. I might repurchase if they have the same shade in a softer formula.
