I spent way too much on makeup this past couple of months, so I am issuing a moratorium on makeup and beauty shopping next month. I really need to save up if I am going to makeup school next year.
So instead of haul posts, I'll write stash posts with quick reviews. While I love/like a lot the stuff in my stash, most of them I would not have used enough to give in-depth reviews. But it would really help me curb the shopping sprees if I shop my stash instead.
My makeup stash is small for a makeup blogger, but it's quite considerable since I only had a handful of items when I moved to Sydney four years ago, and I edit my stash every couple of months.
Most of my makeup stash is stored in my bedside table drawers.
The first drawer has stuff that I use regularly like creams, serums, lip balms, foundation and powders.
The second drawer houses the bulk of my stash like lip products, blushes, eyeshadows, eyeliners, mascaras, more foundation and more powders.
I have my brushes upright in a cup inside the wardrobe so that they don't get dusty and that they don't get knocked over by our cat Scampi. I've also been stuffing my recently-acquired palettes inside the wardrobe, so it looks like I'm overdue for another stash edit/reorg.
P.S. I had a quick look at the new Priceline catalogue, and the makeup goddesses must want me to save up for makeup school because there is nothing in the catalogue that strikes my fancy (I hardly ever buy anything from Priceline if it isn't discounted.)
