I've been wearing a garment I made myself every Monday from 12 April 2010 (April 26 was a public holiday, hence the lounge wear aka pambahay.)
This Me-Made-Monday idea was totally copied from Me-Made-May and LBD Monday. But it won't be as challenging as either projects.
The challenge will be consciously styling my me-made garments with my other stuff, and not being too repetitive. I pretty much wear a dress and cardi combo most of the time as I find that's the easiest when I'm rushing in the morning. But I hope to change that up with belts or scarves or shoes that hardly get any wear.
Hopefully, there'll be more me-made garments over the coming months so I can extend it to other days of the week.
There's not much updates on sewing projects as I'm focusing on mending old clothes and hemming pants I bought over 2 years ago. It's getting colder in Sydney and I'm in dire need of pants.
I did spend an evening matching 10 or so patterns to stash fabric. Each match is now neatly bundled together. That should keep me busy in the next few months.
